This is a more recent type of check, but one that can still be very important. Most people leave their social media profiles open, and this allows would-be employers to snoop and find out if they are involved in any activity which might bring disrepute to the company. It’s through these platforms that employers can start to build up information about a person’s character and find out if they will truly fit in their environment.
